Discussions with Federal Officials regarding Canada's retaliatory tariffs in response to U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods. Potential funding for Spruce Budworm research and response in Atlantic Canada. Meetings with Federal officials regarding support for Canadian private forest owners initiatives related to small forest owners’ silviculture and conservation programs. Sporadic interactions with local Member of Parliament regarding immigration applications. Softwood Lumber Agreement with the United States with regard to Maritime exemption for duties. Interactions with Federal officials regarding the Government's plan to plant 2 Billion trees by 2030. Interactions with Federal officials regarding potential funding for rural housing. Input into the Federal Government's National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy as it relates to Irving Shipbuilding being selected on October 19, 2011 to build the Combat Vessel work package. Input into potential change to pulp and paper effluent regulation. Discussions with Government Officials with respect to European Union Deforestation Regulations.
