Seeking federal budget investments to sustain and grow Canada’s national airport system as strategic economic and dual-use infrastructure. This includes securing new funding and eligibility for infrastructure and economic growth projects at small and mid-size airports facing an unsupported $19 Billion investment gap over 10 years; increasing ACAP funding to meet the true need for safety and security projects at small and northern airports and advancing ground lease extensions and Crown rent reform Advocating a policy modernization and red-tape-reduction agenda for the airport system. These include: digitization of traveller and cargo processing across federal agencies along with improved back-end government systems needed to deliver it; assessment of aviation regulation through a competitiveness, operational and regional resilience lens; modernized rules governing airport land use and commercial flexibility that keep fees low; and, improved zoning and resolution processes for airspace protection from incompatible development. Advancing recognition of Canada's airports as core trade-enabling infrastructure within one Canadian economy: including more integration of aviation into trade corridor, supply chain and economic development strategies and investments supporting stronger multimodal and domestic air network connectivity and to diversify exports, open new markets, and grow business travel, tourism and services trade Facilitating engagement between public office holders to discuss matters affecting Canada's airport system, including federal funding, legislation, regulations and policy initiatives

Meet with federal public office holders to provide information and advice on energy efficiency programs, grants, and related regulatory frameworks. Discuss the development and implementation of federal policies, incentives, and best practices to advance energy efficiency objectives Engage Build Canada Homes regarding funding for low carbon affordable home construction Engage the federal government on the need for support for retrofit market development across Canada to maximize the uptake and climate impact of planned large building retrofit investments. Engage the federal government regarding the opportunity to recapitalize the Deep Retrofit Accelerator Initiative to provide certainty for longer-term retrofit project completion and market capacity development. Engage the federal government on the need to extend the funding timeline for the Deep Retrofit Accelerator Initiative to maximize the uptake and climate impact of large building retrofit investments. Seek support for a GTHA (Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area) Retrofit Delivery Centre, from the Community Climate Action Fund and/or other sources.

"Hydrogen Related Incentives" On behalf of the client, I will be advocating to various departments and agencies to promote hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage (CCS) in Alberta. In addition, I will be pursing various department and agencies to adopt hydrogen and CCS incentives.

Engage the government on the benefits of virtual audits for retrofits aimed at low-income households. In support of the federal government's climate change objectives, seek expansion of the Low Carbon Cities Canada initiative to invest in urban greenhouse gas reduction projects focused on buildings, transportation and waste in major Canadian cities.

Engage with the MPO, NRCAN and other government agencies and officials to seek funding to facilitate the construction of nickel mining and processing infrastructure. Discussing the importance of supporting infrastructure, innovation, and research and development of critical minerals in Canada.

Discussions with government regarding the need for the Energy Star Portfolio Manager program to improve energy efficiency benchmarking across building portfolios. Engage officials regarding the Agreement in Principle with Alberta with respect to methane modelling and reduction. Engage government officials regarding the Energy Innovation Program and Artificial Intelligence for Canadian Energy Innovation Expansion and outsourcing of the Strategic Energy Management for Industry program to help industry in multiple provinces achieve greater energy efficiency.

Engage with the MPO and NRCAN to seek funding to facilitate the construction of nickel processing infrastructure. Engagement with the Strategic Investment Fund (SIF) to facilitate the construction of nickel processing infrastructure. Discussing the importance of supporting infrastructure, innovation, and research and development of critical minerals in Canada.
