Advocate for continued Federal funding for full development of the Yukon – British Columbia Grid Connect Advocate for more early-stage Federal funding for metals and critical minerals mining projects, including financing Indigenous ownership stakes in such projects. Advocate for changes to the environmental assessment requirements for disbursement of Yukon Resources Gateway Program funding. Advocate for streamlining the mandate and processes of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board, including better Federal resourcing of the Board to complete key project assessments.
