Représentations afin de favoriser l’achat et/ou la location d’aéronefs de Bell par le gouvernement du Canada, ses ministères et organismes. Les représentations ont comme objectif l'obtention du contrat lié au projet de Prolongation limitée de la durée de vie du Griffon du ministère de la Défence nationale. Les représentations ont comme objectif de permettre à BTCL d’obtenir du support financier (sous forme de crédits d'impôts ou autres formes de financement) pour des projets de recherche et de développement dans le cadre du programme Fonds stratégique pour l’innovation du ministère de l’Innovation, de la Science et du Développement économique (ISDE) ou d'autres programmes du gouvernement du Canada. Les représentations ont comme objectif de faciliter la mise en place du prochain programme de service à la flotte d'appareils CH-146 Griffon de la Défence nationale qui remplacera le programme Optimized Weapon System Support (OWSS) déjà confié à Bell Textron Canada limitée. Les représentations ont comme objectif d'obtenir le soutien financier ou autre auprès de divers ministères et organismes du gouvernement du Canada pour la formation de main-d'œuvre spécialisée en transport sanitaire aérien (EMS). Les représentations définiront les paramètres régissant l'obtention de financement que prévoit obtenir Bell Textron Canada du gouvernement du Canada pour le développement et la commercialisation de technologies et de produits à décollage vertical à propulsion hybride et/ou électrique (ex. hélicoptères) dans le cadre du projet connu sous le nom de «Viridis». Ce financement pourra servir à l'achat d'équipement et de composantes, à l'embauche et à la formation de personnel et à la commercialisation des technologies et de produits qui en seront issus. Le ministère de la Défense nationale a entrepris sa réflexion autour d’un programme complet et intégré pour la formation de ses équipages aériens (FAcT - Future air Crew Training). Les représentations ont comme objectif de positionner BTCL comme fournisseur potentiel de produits et de services reliés à ce programme de la Défense nationale. Le but des représentations est d’offrir au gouvernement du Canada une solution canadienne pour l'approvisionnement d’hélicoptères fabriqués au Canada et dédiés au transport sanitaire aérien d’urgence (c.à.d. des hélicoptères-ambulances) pour venir en aide aux forces militaires de l’Ukraine et ainsi qu’en appui aux opérations humanitaires et de sauvetage auprès des populations civiles en Ukraine. En marge de l'avant-projet de loi sur la taxe de certains biens de luxe, le but des représentations est de faire valoir les impacts qu'engendrerait la mise en oeuvre d'une telle taxe sur les ventes d'appareils, sur les emplois et l'accroissement du fardeau administratif du fabricant canadien d'hélicoptères. Monitoring provided to ensure compliance with the provisions and regulations of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union, particularly those concerning access to public procurement markets in member countries. The representations are intended to promote Bell's interests in relation to the Agreement between the European Union and Canada concerning participation under the SAFE Instrument (Security Action for Europe) through the Reinforcement of the European Defence Industry. The Aeronautics Act and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) - AIAC advocates for internationally harmonized implementation of regulations to get the highest practical level of safety and to keep Canadian industry economically competitive. Taxation Policy – AIAC advocates for a taxation policy regime that strengthens Canada as a place for new aerospace investment and for growing existing aerospace businesses. e.g. lowering of corporate taxation rates, allowing for greater and accelerated write-up of the purchase of new capital and equipment. Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SRED) Tax Credit – this program administered by Revenue Canada provides a tax credit to companies in proportion to their investments in Research & Development. AIAC advocates for eligibility rules and terms and conditions that meet the needs of Canadian aerospace companies regardless of their public or private ownership. Safety Management System (SMS) - The development of an internationally-recognized SMS Standard consistent with Annex 19. Obtain support from relevant government departments in dealing with the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme to ensure fairness to Canadian companies. Export Financing – Export Development Canada provides financing assistance to foreign buyers of Canadian products and systems.
