Providing information regarding announcement of Anglo American’s proposed merger with Teck relevant to obtaining support for Investment Canada Act (ICA) approval. Support for Canadian projects relating to critical minerals and decarbonization Policies to support the competitiveness of Canada's mining industry Policies to support mining-specific and mining-related project development in Canada Policies to support green transportation and logistics activities Policies to increase electrical grid infrastructure to support new green mining technologies Policies and programs to support the development and deployment of new technologies in mining Policies and programs to support supply chain efficiency and resiliency in Western Canada Policies and programs to support commecial opportunities abroad Policies and programs relating to human resources and skills development and training in mining Policies and programs for the advancement of critical mineral production, processing, recycling, infrastructure and projects in Canada Natural resource development and Canada-U.S. transboundary affairs Fisheries Act with regard to the Metal and Diamond Mining Effluent Regulations Climate action policies including effective and competitive federal carbon pricing Canada Transportation Act, Canada Shipping Act and others with regard to international shipping, railway and port operations and infrastructure

Federal funding programs, investment tax credits, policy and regulatory improvements aimed at supporting research & development, innovation, decarbonization, productivity, and expansion of mining activities within the mining sector under various Government programs and frameworks.
