Federal financing instruments, grants, contributions, investment tax credits, indigenous financing tools and other funding mechanisms in support of the development of energy infrastructure Federal Loan Guarantee program including for the Maritime Link project Federal administration of fiduciary responsibility for Indigenous Affairs and the advancement of indigenous partnership in the energy sector Federal regulatory matters including as it relates to the Canadian Impact Assessment Act, the Fisheries Act, Transport Canada Act, Species at Risk Act, Migratory Birds Convention Act, the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, and other federal regulation, policy and legislation in respect of energy development Canadian Environmental Protection Act requirements in respect of Greenhouse Gases and Air Pollutants including the Clean Electricity Regulations Matters involving the National Electricity Strategy, the Build Canada Act, Major Projects, Projects of National Interest, inter-provincial and intra-provincial transmission and energy trade, East-West energy development, natural gas transmission and regulatory policy matters.

Interactions with Federal Officials regarding Federal programs to accelerate the building of new homes in Canada, including Build Canada Homes. Discussions with Federal Officials regarding Canada's retaliatory tariffs in response to U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods. Potential funding for Spruce Budworm research and response in Atlantic Canada. Meetings with Federal officials regarding support for Canadian private forest owners initiatives related to small forest owners’ silviculture and conservation programs. Sporadic interactions with local Member of Parliament regarding immigration applications. Softwood Lumber Agreement with the United States with regard to Maritime exemption for duties. Interactions with Federal officials regarding the Government's plan to plant 2 Billion trees by 2030. Interactions with Federal officials regarding potential funding for rural housing. Input into the Federal Government's National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy as it relates to Irving Shipbuilding being selected on October 19, 2011 to build the Combat Vessel work package. Input into potential change to pulp and paper effluent regulation. Discussions with Government Officials with respect to European Union Deforestation Regulations.
