Reinforce the importance of collaboration and partnership amongst federal, provincial and Indigenous groups for the protection of Pacific salmon and their habitats. Navigating the financial implications for the Pacific fisheries industry as it relates to the federal budget and fall economic statement. Discussions with government officials about Indigenous-led conservation initiatives to restore wild Pacific salmon populations, including the establishment of a Salmon Park in BC. Communication with policy makers about all matters of BC fisheries policy including the Pacific Salmon Strategy Initiative, salmon conservation stamps, and the protection of salmon.
