Proposed amendments to the Pest Control Products Regulations with respect to The Regulations Amending the Pest Control Products Regulations (Strengthening the Regulation of Pest Control Products in Canada). Wildlife Policy for Canada with respect to the health and diversity of Canada's wildlife and ecosystems Wild Animal and Plant Protection and Regulation of International and Interprovincial Trade Act with respect to the use of the act to control the movement of invasive species across provincial borders The Next Agricultural Policy Framework with respect to environmentally sustainable agriculture Species at Risk Act with respect to supporting research and projects focused on the recovery of species at risk, the implementation of SARA, Boreal Caribou recovery Public Outreach, raising awareness encouraging personal action, and connecting Canadians with nature programs with respect to implementing programs. This will include requesting funding from ECCC and Parks Canada for encouraging personal actions to conserve nature and reduce climate impacts. Oceans Act, Ocean Action Plan, Action Plan for Clean Water, Fisheries Act, Canadian Environmental Protection Act, Canada Water Act, Proposed Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulations with respect to water quality issues Ocean Protection Program with respect to implementation. Discussions regarding temporary entry, business-visitor status, and work permit pathways for specialized technicians supporting cruise ship refits in Canadian ports. Marine Conservation, Routing & Noise - Engagement on marine conservation measures and operational policies under the Canada Shipping Act, Oceans Act, and Species at Risk Act (SARA). Including Southern Resident Killer Whale protection, underwater noise reduction, discussions surrounding the ECHO framework, evidence-based vessel routing and speed considerations, exclusion zones, and transit-lane shifts. Canada Oceans Act: pertaining to regulations for prevention of pollution from ships and as it relates to pollution prevention in the Canada Shipping Act Workplace Health & Security Act – ensure cruise ships meet requirements of Health Canada Cruise Ship Inspection Program with regard to compliance.
