Regarding the delivery of training for commissioned and non-commissioned officers, non-commissioned members, and future members of the Canadian Armed Forces at post-secondary institutions either in person or remotely. Regarding the program design and delivery of Team Canada Strong. Increasing Government of Canada support for international academic and research partnerships. National Adaptation Strategy in relation to Action #1 Wildfire Resilient Futures Initiative to creating a program to establish a Centre of Excellence for Wildland Fire Innovation and Resilience to fund related activities including support for mobilizing knowledge, increasing uptake of innovations in technology and training, supporting Indigenous fire stewardship, and help strengthening wildland fire management in Canada. Creation of, expansion of, and renewal of potential infrastructure; and research and development initiatives and investments Changes to the International Student Program and the Post-Graduate Work Permit criteria.

Support for new research and campus infrastructure. Increased funding and program design for various programs administered by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Funding or support with respect to international development cooperation (student and academic mobility, internships, research collaboration, exchanges, technical assistance). Discussions regarding possible research and development initiatives for, and investments in, partnerships with the University of Calgary. Discussions concerning potential research and development initiatives and investments related to clean energy, environmental research and climate change policy. Discussions about policy implementation regarding the academic visa process in support of international faculty recruitment with respect to changes to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Budget bills in support of federal funding for post-secondary education, research, innovation, science and technology.
