Discussions regarding international development policy priorities, including innovative finance and climate finance initiatives, to support private capital mobilization, sustainable economic development, ecosystem strengthening, and resilient trade and investment partnerships in developing countries. Exploring how Sarona could support Canada’s diversification, resilience, and economic statecraft objectives through scalable, impact-oriented investment platforms Sarona presented two potential partnership pathways: (i) a separately managed account within FinDev Canada to deploy capital into priority regions and sectors, and (ii) a Global Affairs Canada–led blended finance program leveraging Saro-na’s execution capacity and pipeline-building expertise.
