Ensuring that international trade agreements (existing and new) do not negatively effect supply management and its three pillars (import control, production planning, and producer pricing). Known agreements include the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), World Trade Organization (WTO), Canada-Europe Trade Agreement (CETA), and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and there may be future international trade agreements as well.
