Communicating with government on Ontario Genomics' investments in genomics-based research, talent development, and commercialization that deliver economic and social benefits to Ontarians across health, agriculture, food, environment, mining, and forestry, and advance the province's bioeconomy strategy. This includes seeking capital funding for a new biomanufacturing facility in Ontario, as well as operational funding for existing programs.

To educate government on the negative community effects stemming from the illicit tobacco trade, and to advocate for additional resources for law enforcement to help with organized crime.

To inform and clarify issues related to the franchise industry and to discuss any legislative or regulatory proposals that could impact the industry including taxation and finance changes, and share invitations for Members of Parliament to participate in community events.
