CRTC Broadband Fund – SaskTel has been approved for two projects under the CRTC Broadband Fund for augmentation of its backhaul network. Telecom Decision CRTC 2025-296 allocates up to $687,346 in funding. Telecom Decision CRTC 2025-297 allocates up to $1,774,394 in funding. Universal Broadband Fund Program - SaskTel has approved projects (Agreement Nos. 817893, 817898, 817899, and 817985) under the UBF Program. These projects will provide backhaul fibre and FTTP services to 5 communities in addition to 8 cellular towers. The total cost of these projects is $39,598,090, with a contribution of $33,777,128 from the program.
