The Telecommunications Act with respect to the Canadian Telecommunications Policy Objectives (section 7) and the various other sections of the Act (e.g. 27.(1)&(2)) used by the CRTC to regulate small incumbent telephone companies. Regulatory measures (i.e. various orders, decisions and regulatory policies) issued by the CRTC from time to time and applied to small incumbent local exchange carriers in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
