Research and Development of a unique hard-real-time software development tool set (RTEdge) and run-time software executive for scheduling hard-real-time software and suitable hard-real-time computer networks and inter-networks for safety-critical and mission-critical applications. While the RTEdge basic technology is mature, further R&D is required to add capabilities such as multi-processor support, formal methods verification, etc. It is our desire to have a Canadian Government Department or agency help support this R&D perhaps to match support from a US or UK Department or Agency. Research and Development of a high-performance real-time computer network technology (E1553) upgrade to existing networks (Mil-Std-1553) used in most military aircraft. While the E1553 network technology is mature, further R&D is required to add further capabilities such as cyber security, precision time synchronization and real-time inter-networking. It is our desire to have a Canadian Government Department or agency help support this R&D perhaps to match support from a US or UK Department or Agency.
