Canadian Cable Systems Alliance (CCSA)

General discussions to inform the CRTC of challenges faced by small cable systems: migration of television programming to digital distribution; experience with roll-out of Video-On-Demand services; CRTC dispute resolution procedures; competitive entry into telephony by small cable companies; importance of supporting small cable's community channels in small towns and rural areas. All matters related to regulations and policies made by government and by the CRTC under the Broadcasting Act as they relate to independent Broadcasting Distribution Undertakings.
