Promote the interests of pharmacies and pharmacists in British Columbia. Encourage increased utilization of pharmacists and pharmacies in providing vaccinations and other health services. Assist government and patients in dealing with opioid overdoses and treatment.

Reduce deaths, illnesses and loss of employment in the British Columbia construction industry due to the opioid overdose crisis, toxic drug supply, substance abuse and mental health issues. Improve rehabilitation services for construction workers in BC. Possible funding sought for building a rehabilitation centre; ongoing programs assisting workers, including Opioid-Free Pain Clinic, naloxone kits in workplaces, other measures to help prevent deaths and injuries and improve rehabilitation programs.

Promotion of rapid transit, road, bridge, tunnel and highway building by local and BC workers and businesses under fair working conditions and community benefits agreements. Support qualified skills trades workers being employed on major energy and other construction projects to promote safety, local jobs and investment. Improve labour relations, health and safety, apprenticeships and training. Promotion of mining, natural resource extraction, creation and protection of jobs in the resource industry.

Support federal funding contribution for meals in schools for students in need; support federal funding for universal school meals program.
